I am blessed to live on the traditional land of the Twana people adjacent to the mouth of the Skokomish River and estuary where the Skokomish nation exercises their treaty rights. Annas Bay is situated at the Great Bend of Washington state's Hood Canal, the longest saltwater fjord in the continental U.S.. The Olympic Range towers above the fjord west toward the Pacific Ocean, and south from the Strait of Juan de Fuca to nearby Shelton and Elma.
