Washington Nightscapes 2027 calendar
Images of this year’s calendar feature stars and planets in the winter sky (which appear closer and brighter than the summer sky), the full moon just before dawn, the Milky Way from a vineyard in the Yakima Valley, the Columbia River Gorge, Olympic National Park, and Cape Disappointment, several expressions of the Aurora Borealis from my home in Union, a star trail, and even seals sleeping under the stars.Also included is a celebration for every day of the year. All proceeds benefit The Salmon Center in Belfair, WA, which has provided more than 30 years of education and habitat restoration, and St. David of Wales Episcopal Church, Shelton, WA.
